Testimonials

  • When Clarissa approached me about writing a blog post celebrating me and my new company, I was touched, honored and a bit nervous. No one had ever found me or my work very interesting, so I wasn’t sure what to expect. She and I met and had a great conversation that dove deep. Her questions showed that she truly was interested. Then, she came back with a very well-written draft that made me tear up. Clarissa captured our conversation and my all-over-the-board rambling perfectly and summed it up into a beautiful piece that I proudly shared on social media. Clarissa is not only incredibly professional, she is also insightful, curious, compassionate, and a terrific storyteller! • It takes a REALLY GOOD writer to get you so overwhelmed, reading your own life story!
I connected with Clarissa Schmieg through a former customer of hers, which shared such high praise for Clarissa’s professional writing skills and warm personality that I had to reach out. Recommendations may oversell at times, but in this case, the ‘Person’ (Clarissa) surpassed her warm reference, many times over!
Clarissa is a down-to-earth super-talent and the most engaging and vibrant person I have met in a long time. Writing my life story is a ‘big one’ and since I’ve never done this before, I did not know what to expect; Clarissa cleared all worries and doubts during our first conversation, explaining the process and outcome which got me further excited.
The interview meeting was truly profound; you could tell that Clarissa is a master of her craft; the questions she asked, her listening and deep diving into topics makes you feel so natural as you unfold your entire life story.
Clarissa’s process is iterative and transparent, allowing you to go over the written result before publishing, discuss and fine-tune elements, always guided by her professional hand.
A couple of weeks later, with the addition of a couple of images, my story was out; being so excited with the result I shared it countless times, with anyone I know, and many who now know of me through reading it.
Many times, we take the ‘written word’ for granted, especially in this era of Chat GPT; for the same reason you would hire a designer to design an application, you should hire a ‘writer’ when you need to write a grant requests, blog, Newsletters, Sales Copy and other tasks where the ‘written word’ translates into recognition, brand, exposure and funds/income you want to secure.
I do not know many writers, but after working with Clarissa and experiencing her mastery first-hand, I don’t need to 😊

  • If anyone is looking for a writer, author or a person who can magically put words on paper, I strongly recommend Clarissa Schmieg. I had the honor of working with Clarissa when she wrote an article about my life and 37 year TV News career. She captured my story perfectly. I’m honored that not only she chose me but did a beautiful job with the storytelling. Thank you Clarissa!
